Origin/meaning

The arms show the Stechinelli-Tor, the gate to the local manor house, named after the Stechinelli family, who lived there from 1691-1721. The gate shows the hat from the Stechinelli (originally Capellini, meaning hat) arms, and a rose from the arms of the wife of Francesco Maria Stechinelli/Capellini, Agnese Elisabeth Breyger. The shield above the gate shows the arms of Lüneburg.

The base symbolises the Aller river.
