Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 29, 1977.

The arms show an Agnus Dei. There are two seals known from the village. from 1670 and 1686 and both show the same composition. The colours were chosen arbitrarily. The meaning of the Agnus Dei is not known, but probably refers to the former patron saint of the village.
