Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on ? (after 2011)
The arms are based on the only known seal of the village, dating probably from the early 19th or late 18th century. It shows three flowers, see below.
It was assumed that the flowers are dill plants, hence a canting element (Dill-städt), although the name probably has nothing to do with the plant. In the current arms the plants are shown as dill plants.
