DITTENHEIM
State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Weissenburg-Gunzenhausen (until 1973 Gunzenhausen)
Additions: 1978 Sammenheim, Sausenhofen, Windsfeld
German | In Blau ein goldener Tafelberg, darauf zwei silberne Nadelbäume, zwischen denen ein von Silber und Schwarz geviertes Schildchen schwebt. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on January 12, 1952.
The base shows the Gelben Berg (golden mountain) in the municipality. The two pine trees refer to the local forests and the small shield shows the quartered arms of the Margraves of Ansbach to whom the are historically belonged..
