Gespalten von Schwarz und Gold; vorne ein silberner Ort, hinten ein schwarzes Zahnrad; aus dem unteren Schildrand aufwachsend eine von Silber und Schwarz gespaltene Ähre.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 10, 1963.

The black and golden shield is the arms of the medieval Knights of Ruhstorf. The wheel and wheatear symbolise industry and agriculture.
