Wappen von Ramlingen-Ehlershausen

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on September 11, 1959.

The arms show in the upper half the golden lion, used by the free territory until the end of the 17th century. The lower half shows two water lily leaves, as a symbol for the former lakes and ponds in the area. The iron symbolises the combination of the two villages of Ramlingen and Ehlershausen.
