In Silber auf grünen Hügeln drei grüne Eichbäume mit Blättern und Früchten, die unteren Äste gestümmelt.

Origin/meaning

The arms are known from the seals of the city since the 16th century. The three oak branches are derived from the arms of the family Berka von der Duba, who granted the city rights in 1423. The arms are canting, Dub means oak in the Slavic/Sorbic language.
