In Rot ein übereck gestelltes, schwarz-silbern geschachtetes Schachbrett mit 64 Feldern.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 27, 1937.
Already since the 16th centiry the village is known for its chess players and boards. Hence the use of a chessboard on the arms.
