State : Sachsen-Anhalt
District (Kreis) : Börde
Verwaltungsgemeinschaft : Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Niedere Börde
Incorporated into: 2004 Niedere Börde
Official blazon
(de) In Rot eine schräg liegende silberne Leiter mit fünf Sprossen, beseitet von je einer steigenden silbernen Ähre.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on January 13, 1997.
The ladder is taken from the seal and arms of the Lords von Herbike und Meseberge, who founded the village in around 1040. The ears refer to the agricultural character of the village.
