Origin/meaning
The County Eberstein was a small county located in the present-day German state of Baden-Württemberg. It existed as an independent territory from 1085-1660, when it was divided by the Diocese of Speyer. Baden and Württemberg. Capital was the city of Ebersteinburg.
The arms show a rose, taken from the arms of the old dynasty.
