Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1939.

The arms show three eagles, taken from the arms of the Von Arnholte family, who originated from the area and held the local estate until the end of the 15th century. The symbol is a Keulenwinkelkreuz, a solar-symbol and used ofen on farmhouses in the region.
