THE ROYAL MUNSTER FUSILIERS, BRITISH ARMY

History: Formed in 1881 by amalgamation of the 101st Regiment of Foot (Royal Bengal Fusiliers) and the 104th Regiment of Foot (Bengal Fusiliers). Disbanded in 1922, following creation of the Irish Free State.

Regimental Headquarters: Ballymullen Barracks, Tralee, County Kerry.
