Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 21, 1962.
The right half is taken from the arms of the Counts of Preysing , who resided in the village in the 12th century. The other half shows 6 fleur-de-lys taken from the arms of the Obermünster Abbey in Regensburg (which showed 9 fleur-de-lys), to which the local church belonged since the 10th century until 1803.
