History: Formed at Ballygunge in June 1943 as No 367 Wireless Unit, the Unit was redesignated on October 1, 1946.
Official blazon
Badge: Out of water barry wavy argent/azure a rock proper (grey) thereon a double-headed dragon passant Or.
Motto: Nihil celerius = nothing swifter.
Origin/meaning
The Rock symbolises Hong Kong, location of the Unit when the Badge was granted. The Dragon also alludes to the Far East and watchfulness. The Badge was granted in July 1953.
