Incorporated into : 1971 Lampertheim
German |
Origin/meaningThe arms show either an axe or a plough, and are probably an old village symbol. The symbol first appears on the village seal of 1691. As a supporter the patron saint of the village St. Stephen is used. The same image (arms and supporter) is also shown on the village hall, dating from 1711.
