Origin/meaning

The County Klettgau was a small county located in the present-day German state of Baden-Württemberg. It existed as an independent territory util 1806, when it was mediatised to Baden.

The arms are those of the Counts of Sulz, counts from 1408-1687 and used for the territory since.
