Origin/meaning
The County Weimer-Orlamünde was formed in 1062 from the counties of Orlamünde and Weimar. It was partinioned in many sub-branches and in the 15th century became a part of Brandenburg and was later mainly used as a title only.
The arms a black lion surrounded by hearts. Still used by the cities of Orlamünde, Weimar and several more.
