Origin/meaning
The Maple Leaf is symbol of the Royal Canadian Air Force Squadrons based here 1943-1946. The Crane is indicative that Digby in 1917 was used as an overflow Station for Royal Naval Air Service Cadets from Cranwell. The badge was granted in July 1954.
