Selected collector's items from Germany:

FRIEDRICHSWERTH

State : Thüringen
District (Kreis) : Gotha; 1969 Doberzeit (1957 Daube)

Wappen von Friedrichswerth

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 28, 2002.

The wings are taken from the arms of the Lords of Effra, to whom the village belonged until 1677. The two towers are those of the local castle and church. The wheatear refers to the famous plant breeder Eduard Meyer from the village.
