HMS GUERNSEY, ROYAL NAVY

Coat of arms (crest) of the HMS Guernsey, Royal Navy
Official blazon
English White issuant from an ancient crown gold three florets of Guernsey lily proper (Nerine Sarniensis).

Origin/meaning

The Lily is a Symbol of the Island, once called Sarnia. The Crown alludes to the fact that Guernsey once belonged to France. The badge was approved in 1976.
