English Blue; a globe proper charged with seven bees volant gold within a orle of fleur-de-lys white.

Motto: Sapere aude

Origin/meaning

From the Crest of the City Arms (Globe and Bees) and the Badge of the Manchester Regiment (Fleur-de-lys). The Motto translates as "Dare to be wise". The Badge was approved on 14 Janaury 1937.
