Gespalten von Schwarz und Silber; vorn eine bewurzelte goldene Pappel über zwei goldenen Wellenbalken, hinten eine aufrechte nach links gekehrte vierendige rote Hirschstange.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 21, 1995.

The poplar refers to the agricultural and rural character of the village. The base refers to the local 'Sauren Brunnen'-well and a former small river in the village. The left half shows the arms of the Regenstein County, to which the area historically belonged.
