NO 269 SQUADRON, ROYAL AIR FORCE

History: Formed at Port Said, Egypt in October 1918 from Seaplanes Stations that existed since January 1916 as the Anglo-French Seaplane Unit. Retitled as No 269 Squadron on October 6, 1918.
