History: Formed at Stantaer in January 1941.

Motto: Maria tuni docemus = We theach the young fledglings to guard the seas.

Origin/meaning

The Torch symbolises learning and the fountain the duties over the Seas for which the Unit trains its pupils. The Badge was granted in March 1945.
