NO 766 SQUADRON, FAA

History: First formed in 1942 at Royal Naval Air Station Macrahanish (HMS Landrail), Argyll and Bute, Scotland as a Night Attack Torpedo Unit until 1954. The Squadron finally disbanded in 1970.

Origin/meaning

The Latin Motto translates as "Hasten slowly". The Badge was approved in 1949.
