History: Oakhanger was transferred from the Army to the Royal Air Force on December 20, 1967.
Official blazon
In fron of a roundel sable charged with a decrescent argent a petatus Or.
Motto: Ultra tellurem dico = I speak th truth.
Origin/meaning
The Station has a Radio Communications Role and the Roundel represents the Dark Continium of Space through which the Messages travel with the Decrescent alluding to the use of Earth Satellites for this purpose.
