Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted in 1987.
The cross in the first quarter refers to the former Commandery of the Order of the Templars in the village, the second quarter shows the arms of Normandy, the third reflects the agricultural character and the fourth the presence of a Neolithic settlement.
