Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted on August 10, 2013.
The specific cross is based on a cross on the outside altar wall of the church of St. Elijah in Radoviš. It is a representation of a cross on which each arm is accompanied by two additional elements. It is likely that these two elements are the spear and stick with a sponge soaked in vinegar, which constitute the attributed Arms of Jesus Christ. The symbol was reworked, standardized and graphically presented with 4 spokes, and without a base. It is blazoned as a Radoviš Cross.
The previous arms were adopted in the late 1990s. These arms showed tobacco leaves and miner's tools:
