D'azur à la barque du Léman, la coque et, le mât au naturel, habillée d'argent, pavillonnée de gueules à la croix d'argent, le mât surmonté d'une fleur de lis d'or, la barque passant ente deux colonnes d'argent posées chacune en flanc sur un coupeau de sinople, surmontées, celle de dextre d'un losange d'or et celle de senestre d'une étoile du même; au chef de gueules à la croix d'argent.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted in 1984.
The arms show a boat, indicating the former importance of fishing in Lake Geneva for the village. The other symbols in the lower half are taken from the arms of the Grans St. Bernhard Abbey, to which the local priory belonged. The chief shows the arms of Savoy.
La barque évoque la pêche sur le Léman et les autres éléments sont empruntés aux armoiries de la Prévôté du Grand-Saint-Bernard dont dépendait le prieuré de Meillerie.
