ROD AN DER WEIL

(de)
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on January ??, 1953.
The arms are based on the oldest known seal of Rod an der Weil from 1806. The arms simply indicate the importance of fisheries in the Weil river. The blue and golden colours refer to the Counts of Nassau, as the area became a possession of Nassau in 1326.
