KLEIN GERAU
State : Hessen
District (Kreis) : Groß Gerau
Incorporated into : 1977 Büttelborn
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted in 1927 and show the old village symbol.
The meaning of the symbol is not known. There have been speculations for different kinds of hooks, for a kind of stick or as a yoke. The symbol appeared for the first time on a local seal from 1622.
