In Blau eine silberne Burg mit offenem Tor und drei Türmen mit spitzen roten Dächern, bekrönt von je einer goldenen Wetterfahne. Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on September 17, 1853. The arms are based on the old seal of the town, which was used from 1698 until the 19h century. The arms show a city wall with three church towers, simply showing the town itself.
