Origin/meaningThe Lordship Badenweiler was a small area located in the present-day German state of Baden-Württemberg. It existed as an independent territory until, when it was incorporated in Baden. Capital was the city of Badenweiler. The arms are the arms of the von Strassberg family, lords from 1315-1367 and have been the arms for the territory since.
