Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on ?
The arms refer to the villages of Farven and Byhusen, which are geographically separated by the Bever river. The upper half shows St. George, as both villages historically belonged to the St. George's Abbey in Stade. The lower half shows a heart with a star, taken from the arms of the late medieval family Von Byhusen.
