I rött fält två ullsaxar av silver, den högra störtad. Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted in 1939 and again registered in 1974. The two sheep-shears area already seen on the oldest seal of the city dating from 1622. The arms thus never changed composition, although the position of the two shears has changed during the years.
