State : Niedersachsen
District (Kreis) : Göttingen (until 1973 Duderstadt)
Incorporated into : 1973 Seeburg

Wappen von Bernshausen/Arms (crest) of Bernshausen
Official blazon
German In Blau ein goldener Schrägbalken, belegt mit drei fünfblättrigen roten Rosen.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 18, 1936.

The arms are based on a seal of Werner von Bernshasuen, dating from 1423. The rose is also a symbol for justice and thus symbolises the historical Königshof and court in the village.
