Shield: Buff, a quarterfoil per bend Gules and Sable surmounted by a wyvern passant Argent.
Crest: From a wreath Argent and Buff, a buckle Gules interlaced with two scimitars in saltire, baldes Argent (Silver Gray) and hnadgrips Gules, points up.
Motto: Warrior spirit, Warrior support.
Distinctive Unit Insignia, Description: A silver color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height overall consisting of a quartrefoil bendwise divided red and black surmounted by a silver wyvern as depicted on the Arms of Draguignan, France. Above and below the upper and lower lobes of the quatrefoil a silver scroll inscribed "WARRIOR SPIRIT" above and "WARRIOR SUPPORT" below in black letters.
Origin/meaning
Buff is the Colour of Support Units. The Wyvern alludes to participation in "Operation Dragon" the Landing in Southern France in August 1944. This mainly took place in the Departement of Var, which Capital is Draguignan whose Arms includes a Wyvern.
