4TH CIVIL ENGINEER SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE

History: Designated as Squadron C, 4 Airdrome Group on 28 July 1947. Organized on 15 August 1947. Discontinued on 1 August 1948. Consolidated (3 October 1984) with the 4 Installations Squadron, Fighter, Jet, which was constituted on 14 June 1948. Activated on 1 August 1948. Redesignated: 4 Installations Squadron on 20 January 1950; 4 Civil Engineering Squadron on 1 July 1960; 4 Civil Engineer Squadron on 1 March 1994.
