Official blazon
Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat. În partea superioară, în câmp roșu, se află un vârf de cârjă episcopală de aur. În partea inferioară, în câmp argintiu, se află un brâu undat roșu. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 19, 2014.
The wavy bar represents the etymology of the name of the locality.
The top of the episcopal crutch reminds of the bishop Ilarion Mircea Băcăoanul, the vicar of the Holy Episcopate, a great personality, born in the locality.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
