Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 17, 1952.
The arms show the red wolf of the State of Passau, as the area historically belonged to the State of Passau. The fish refers to the position on the lake, whereas the branch is canting. Obertrumm can be seen as Oberes Trumm, or high branch.
