The red and yellow squares refer to the coat of arms of the city of Wuerzburg, the home area of the unit, and is incorporated with the cross indicating the dental services provided by the unit to the Wuerzburg area. | |||

Description: A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86cm) in height overall consisting of a square quarterly of red and yellow between a maroon cross-crosslet on a silver field all enclosed by a curved triparted maroon scroll bearing in silver letters the words "QUALITY THRU DEDICATION" at left, right and bottom respectively.
