In keel een vliegende duif, omgeven door een krans van olijftakken, verge­zeld van drie schuinkruisjes, alles van zilver. Achter het schild een voordraagkruis van goud. Het schild is gedekt met een prelaten­hoed met daaraan ter weerszijden van het schild, drie rijen, door koorden ver­bonden, kwasten, 1-2-3, alles van sinopel.

Devies: SHALOM, in zwarte letters op een wit lint.

Origin/meaning

The three crosses and the colours are taken from the arms of the city of Breda. The dove and olive branches are a symbol of peace, as is the motto (Shalom is Hebrew for peace)
