Escudo de verde, caravela de ouro mastreada e cordoada do mesmo, vestida de prata, navegando sobre campanha ondada de prata e verde de cinco tiras; em chefe, cruz da Ordem de Cristo, perfilada a ouro, entre dois cabrestantes de ouro, realçados de negro. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro: “ FUNCHAL – SANTA MARIA MAIOR “.
