DHARGANDHRA MAKHWAN INFANTRY, DHARGANDHARA

History: raised in 1909 from selected personnel from the existing irregular forces. In 1922 it was reorganised under the Indian State Forces Scheme. During World War II its two Platoons served as Demonstration Platoons at the Indian Military Academy at Dehra Dun.
