D'azur, à la croix haute d'argent, rayonnante de même, chargée d'une couronne d'épines de sinople.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on February 26, 1845.

The meaning of these arms is not known. The local council used in the early 19th century a seal with the cross, and applied in 1845 for the adoption of this symbol in its arms.
