Official blazon
Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat de un brâu undat de argint și despicat în partea superioară. În partea superioară, în dreapta, pe fond verde, se află un mănunchi de spice de grâu de aur. În partea superioară, în stânga, pe fond roșu, se află un stejar smuls, cu coroana compusă din patru ramuri, dotate cu nouă frunze și șase ghinde, totul de aur. În partea inferioară, pe fond albastru, se află un pește de argint. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 3, 2014.
The wavy bar represents the Berteasca lake, the Călmățui river that crosses the locality and the Danube river, which is a short distance from the commune.
The bunch of wheat ears refers to the basic occupation of the inhabitants, agriculture. The fish evokes the fishing richness of the locality.
