Stema Sânpetru

Official blazon

Un scut triunghiular, cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat. În partea superioară, în câmp albastru, se află două aripi de argint. În vârful scutului, în câmp roșu, se află două chei de aur încrucișate. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint, cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 28, 2010.

The wings are reminiscent of the School of Gliding established in 1937, and the keys are the well-known symbol of St. Peter, patron saint and namesake of the town.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
