German | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms have never been officially granted.
The old seal of Dietzhausen already showed a hen, which is the symbol of the Henneberg county, to which the village historically belonged. The chevron symbolises the many timber-framed houses in the village. The colours were chosen arbitrarily and deliberately not natural for the hen, to distinguish the arms from the many other simialr arms in the region.
