On the original design from 1948 the arms were surrounded by 8 medaillons, each with symbols of one of the main industries in the district; Forestry, Mining, Agriculture, Printing, Leather industries, Textile industries, China manufacturing and Machine manufacturing. Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 13, 1948 and in above composition adopted on June 22, 1992.
