Von Silber und Rot schräggeteilt, oben aus blauen Wellen wachsend drei schwarze Lampenputzer-Schilfstengel, unten ein linksgerichtetes, silbernes Jagdhorn.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 21, 1969.

The village is situated on the Steinhuder lake, which is symbolised by the reeds. The horn refers to the historical nightwatch, who made his rounds in the village during night carrying such a horn.
